Finite Element Computer Model Simulation

The following simulation demonstrates the ability of Stanley's patented "kiss-offs" (US Patent No. 6,460,478) and the HDXLPE plastic hull to absorb and dissipate EXTREME impacts ensuring survivability of the craft at sea and safety for the occupants.  The model is a slow-motion representation of our 7 meter boat impacting a 3 foot wave at 40 knots.  Comparative studies with fiberglass show hull failure at only 30 knots into the same 3 foot wave and substantially higher impact loads on the occupants.

Note:  Please be patient for this to load - it will loop when finished.

This slow motion animation represents the forces involved in a 1 second impact.  The simulation was performed by SimuTech Group
